  1. This tool checks wind-pressure resistance and deflection of window / curtain-wall cladding members using a simply-supported UDL beam model — for preliminary sizing of mullions, transoms and meeting stiles.
  2. The net pressure coefficient is the governing (usually corner/edge suction) magnitude including internal+external pressure; zone and effective-wind-area reduction must be refined per the selected code.
  3. Pultruded FRP E and f vary widely by grade and lay-up; presets are typical values only — always confirm against the manufacturer's measured datasheet.
  4. Deflection uses the service/characteristic wind; strength uses the design/ultimate level. Glass panels, connections, embeds, seismic and thermal actions must be checked separately.
  5. US: ASCE 7-22 / IBC; V is the ultimate (strength-level) 3-sec gust — take it from the ASCE 7 wind maps for the Risk Category.
