Why we are different from traditional composites sites
Most traditional composites sites are stuck in Web 2.0: news + yellow pages + PDF downloads. f1frp's six structural differences are not single-feature wins — the entire operating model is different, which is what makes content and traffic compound.
Structural differences, not feature upgrades
Most other 'AI assistants' are ChatGPT-with-a-skin and hallucinate freely. f1frp's AI must source every statement from the six libraries; the [#N] markers are clickable and go to the source. No source → the AI says so.
CrossRef + OpenAlex + Google Patents + RSS, four pipelines in parallel. Papers went 101 → 698, patents 13 → 1,473 in a handful of bulk runs. Traditional sites depend on manual entry; here, the code produces content daily.
Not a Chinese site with English bolted on — one dataset, two renders. /zh/ + /en/ path prefix, hreflang bidirectional, llms.txt for LLMs. Covers Baidu / Sogou / Google / Bing / ChatGPT / Perplexity simultaneously.
Every paper ingested auto-triggers Chinese commentary + related material/standard/formula links + sitemap refresh + six-engine push + Telegram channel + weekly newsletter. Once a user lands, there is always more to read.
Materials / formulas / standards / papers / patents / suppliers are not isolated. Material pages recommend suppliers, formula pages link materials, paper pages show related patents. Any page is an entry to the other five.
Each material parameter carries a source type (manufacturer TDS / third-party test / AI inference), extensible to confidence labels. Papers link out to DOI, patents to publication number + Google Patents. Engineers know exactly where the data comes from.
Head-to-head with traditional composites sites
| Dimension | Traditional sites | f1frp |
|---|---|---|
| Content updates | Manual entry, monthly or quarterly | Daily cron ingestion + real-time commentary |
| AI capability | None, or a ChatGPT skin without citations | RAG citation-first, no source → no answer |
| Data linking | Isolated PDF downloads per page | Six-library cross-table linking, deep routing |
| Bilingual support | Chinese only, or crude machine translation | Bilingual at source, hreflang + SEO double coverage |
| Data provenance | No source attribution | Material source_type, paper DOI, patent pub-no |
| Engineering delivery | Read-only | RFQ → supplier email, PDF reports, online calculators |
