Basalt Fiber
Basalt fiber (BF) is a single-component natural mineral fiber drawn directly from basalt rock. It offers S-glass-like strength, higher temperature capability than glass fiber (700 °C), excellent alkali and corrosion resistance, and is fully green and recyclable. Rising in 'green alternative' and 'alkali-resistant reinforcement' applications.

Typical applications
Alkali-resistant rebar for concrete (GFRP substitute) · Automotive chassis parts · Bridge retrofit · High-temperature pipes · Fire-retardant panels · Fire-blocking textiles · Battery insulation.
700 °C service — far above glass fiber · Better alkali resistance than E-glass — ideal for concrete reinforcement · Natural mineral origin · Cost ¥ 25-35 /kg (between glass and carbon) · Mature domestic supply chain.
